Manzile

Arz kiya hai,
Baatein halki phulki chaltein rehti hai,
Hawaayein behki behki si angraiya bharte rehti hai,
Jo agar bin thokar lage safar tay ho jaaye
Toh insaaf na hua yeh manzil kehte rehti hain

Umeed

"Aisi umeed hi kyu karni... Jis umeed ko qaayam rakhne ke liye, ek dusri umeed karni pade?"

Bits

All around, pieces and miniscule bits,
Of dreams, aspirations and grit,
Glass reflecting your being
With one too many knits.

Stuck and overwhelmed
Stagnant and brushed with fear
Nothing in near sight,
Losing each breath,
Becoming paler,
Glass reflecting your being,
With one too many knits.

You want to get joined,
You know it comes with a price ,
You decide you want to live,
You know you have to make a trade to breathe,
With each breath you lose, you honor the trade,
Glass reflecting your being,
With one too many knits.

I am oblivious to the possibilities,
With everything near being broke,
The castle not so much,
But the crown is in dust
To pick it up or not,
To make it dare again or not,
To flow and hit the shore or not,
Glass reflecting your being,
With one too many knits.

The wise, no longer justify their wisdom,
With each step, you make your own wisdom,
They didn’t prepare you for this,
They didn’t tell you, you were the one who would have to take the plunge,
You were never told, that you will be the flight in the bird,
The air in the balloon,
The sand in the desert,
The sail in the boat,
Glass reflecting your being,
With one too many knits.

Rise up and be the beat of your own heart,
Rise up and be the sound of your own breath,
They didn’t tell you, no one was coming for you,
They didn’t tell you, you are your own wait,
They didn’t tell you,you are your own adhesive,
Glass reflecting your being,
With one too many knits.
